Our first bag delivery was a great success! We left our house at 7am to arrive at Oakland Children's Hospital at 9:30am. We were greeted by the NICU social worker, Ruth, who was waiting with a large rolling table to place the bags on. Kassidy and I unloaded all 40 bags (20girl bags and 20boy bags) along with the three little ones (Carson 10months, Isaiah 7months, and Owen 19months!).
Once we arrived at the NICU, we were greeted by many many nurses who wanted to see Owen and all the bags. We took a few pictures, updated everyone on Owen's status and said our goodbyes. It was a quick visit but such a happy event.
Ruth informed me that she will be giving me feedback about what the parents liked and what they didn't like. When I get that email I will post it for you to see. I can't wait to get feedback and make our bags better and better.
This was a great way to celebrate Owen being home for 1 year! We are so blessed :)
Thank you to all who donated and helped to make this delivery such a great success!
